Gradus InPro 940 handrail comprises an aluminium retainer with PVC-u finishing tube, impact resistant, replaceable PVC-u cover, stainless steel bracket and complementary PVC-u accessories including returns and corners.
The 940 handrail is designed to offer pedestrian guidance and support, in addition to a degree of surface protection against damage caused by wheeled traffic. It has been designed to meet the guidelines in BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and Approved Document M (ADM) of The Building Regulations 2010, with a circular grip diameter of 40mm, bracket clearance of 50mm and a distance from the wall of 62mm. It also features a smooth finish in line with the requirements of HBN 00-04.
Available in 30 colours, the 940 handrail can be selected in a colour that contrasts with the wall in order to aid visually impaired people and help specifiers meet their duties under the Equality Act 2010 in line with BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and ADM.
Ideal for use in hospitals, clinics, nursing/care homes, schools, airports, train stations and bus terminals.
